SURREY Police are keen to track down two youths after a teenager was assaulted in a fast food restaurant.
The 15-year-old victim was sitting with two friends in McDonald's, in Chertsey Road, Woking, at around 6.30pm on Friday, March 3 when two men approached him. They began punching the teenager, knocking him to the floor and causing him to lose consciousness. He was then punched in the head by the second offender before the pair fled the premises.
The victim was taken to St Peter's Hospital, Chertsey to be treated for bruising to his head and injuries to his fingers.
The first offender is described as Asian, possibly of Pakistani descent, about 5ft 5in tall, of broad build and aged between 13 and 15. He had black, tightly-curled hair about two or three inches long. He was wearing a black hooded top with red inside the hood and a red 360 logo on the front. He was also wearing black jogging bottoms.
The second suspect is also of Asian - possibly Pakistani - descent but was tall and of slim build. He was between 14 and 16 years old and had black, cropped hair. He was wearing a light blue zip-up waterproof jacket with a thick padded collar and blue stonewash jeans.
PC Tony Gravener from Woking CID believes someone can help their inquiries.
He said: "No one has the right to attack another person in this way and we are working hard to bring the offenders to justice. We need the names of those responsible, and although there appears to be a lot of talk about this incident locally so far no one has come forward."
